Cub Scouting means "doing." Everything in Cub Scouting is designed to have the boys doing things. Activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting—citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness
At OMPC Pack 533, we believe that Cub Scouting provides another excellent opportunity for parent(s) to spend personal time with their sons. A cub scouts know that on Mondays they are spending time with their parents or working together on a project.
We try to have an outing monthly where scouts can spend time with family and other scouts, whether it is a fishing trip, overnight campout, orienteering etc., its always fun and a great way to spend intentional time with your son.
Cub Scouting also provides a chance for boys to be exposed to leaders who are dedicated to seeing them advance not only in cub scouting, but also in their relationships with God, country and family.
One of Cub Scouting goals is for boys to fall in love with scouting, and point the way to Boy Scouts where Boys are shepherded on their way to becoming men.
