Junior and Senior High Student Ministry

“Equipping students for the work of ministry.”

The Youth Ministry of OMPC offers many opportunities for students to learn and grow in light of the gospel spiritually, socially, and intellectually. Our desire for our students is for them to realize the truths of the gospel for their lives as they grow together in a greater Christian community.

SUNDAY MORNINGS

Our students enjoy snacks and fellowship, dynamic worship and life-changing, age-appropriate teaching. The Junior High students meet separate from the Senior High students for their teaching time. Sunday School meets from 10:30-11:45 noon.

SUNDAY NIGHTS

Jr. High @ the Youth House 5:30-7:00 PMSr. High @ the Youth House 7:00-8:30 PM

These meetings consist of praise and worship with our student-led band, dynamic teaching, prayer, sharing and fellowship and are a great time for students to discover more about Christ and their relationship with Him, to reconnect with friends and to love on each other.

D-GROUPS

Most of our students are involved in discipleship groups. We have Trained Leaders who teach applicable truths of God’s Word to our Senior High students. Relationships are built centered around Prayer, Accountability, Care and Teaching. Discipleship is truly the “backbone” of our ministry to students. Our D-groups meet throughout the week.

DIGGIN’ DEEPER

This is our smaller group Bible Study with our Junior High students that meets Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM. It is a great time for smaller group connections and for learning the doctrines of our faith with personal application relevant to the students.
