Student Expectations
OMSFA expects students to come prepared with homework completed, lesson materials, instrument if applicable, and a good attitude. OMSFA expects students to arrive on time and to be picked up on time. A student under the age of 12 should never be without adult supervision.
Attendance
OMSFA expects students to attend 12 lessons per semester. With 24 hour notice, cancellation for a private lesson is accepted and a makeup lesson will be available. Should the 24 hour notice not be given, refund and makeup lesson will not be available with the exception of illness or death in the family. If the student is dismissed from school due to illness then it is the parent’s responsibility to contact the student’s teacher. Contact teacher to schedule makeup lesson. If the student is at school, then the student is expected to be at his OMSFA lesson. If he misses the lesson, the student will be charged for that missed lesson with no refund or makeup lesson. No make up lesson or refund available for a missed group lesson.
Payment
OMSFA encourages a school year’s commitment. Registration fee is due prior to the first lesson. Payment options:Full semester payment due prior to the first lesson,Three equal payments due on lessons 1, 5, and 9. Checks or Cash accepted. Please make checks payable to OMSFA. Payment may be placed in the black box outside the OMSFA room. Gift certificates are available.
