The Program at a Glance 2010-2011

The Treehouse Program of Oak Mountain Church is an outreach ministry that serves the surrounding community. Our desire is to provide families with a safe, quality program for their children from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Children must be at least 12 months old as of September 1 and walking in order to enroll. The cut-off for each age group is also September 1. We offer Wednesday & Friday classes for 1-3 year olds or Monday, Wednesday & Friday classes for our 1- 4 year olds. We also offer a 4-day class for 3 and 4 year olds that will meet Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday. Classes for the 2010-2011 school year will begin Wednesday, August 18, 2010.

PROGRAM CURRICULUM

Our curriculum promotes children’s social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual growth through activities that include Bible stories, music, crafts, play time, chapel and classroom instruction. All Bible lessons are taught from a reformed perspective, reflecting our beliefs at Oak Mountain. Instruction is given according to age and developmental levels. For children in the 4 year old classes, we include elements of preparation for kindergarten.

SNACK & LUNCH

Each child is to bring his/her snack and lunch in a lunch box or sack. Please note that we are a “peanut free facility”.

TUITION & FEES

Registration fee: $100 for the 1st child in a family enrolled & $50 for each sibling enrolled in the same school year. The registration fee is due upon completion of the attached Registration Form in order to enroll your child in the TREEHOUSE.

Tuition:
$220 per month for 4-day week
$185 per month for 3-day week
$155 per month for 2-day week
(We offer a 10% discount for siblings)

Tuition & Fees continued:

Semester Supply Fee:
$105 for 4-day week
$80 for 3-day week
$60 for 2-day week

The registration fee is not refundable for any reason.

Early Care/Extended Care:

Early Care Extended Care
(7:50 AM – 9:00 AM) (1:00 PM – 2:30 PM)
$ 60 per month for 4-day week $80 per month for 4 days a week
$ 45 per month for 3-day week $60 per month for 3 days a week
$ 30 per month for 2-day week $40 per month for 2 days a week
$ 15 per month for 1-day week $20 per month for 1 day a week
$ 5 per day for drop-in $10 per day for drop-in

For Early and Extended care there will be a $10 registration/supply fee per family. (If using both, only one fee will be charged)

For early care, please call us at least the day before to let us know you would like early care.
For Extended care you are welcome to call as late as that day to see if there is availability for your child.

CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

We are please to offer contractual speech therapy services on-site with Holly Foster-SLP. However, please be advised that the Treehouse is not equipped for children with moderate to severe special needs. We will consider your child with mild special needs on a case by case basis. If it is decided that we need to hire an aid to assist your child in the classroom, we will either ask for additional financial assistance from you, or allow you to withdraw your child.

Please note that the TREEHOUSE at Oak Mountain is not affiliated with The Westminster School at Oak Mountain and attending the TREEHOUSE at Oak Mountain does not guarantee that your child will be accepted into Westminster.
